Job Title: Automotive Subject Matter Expert/ Service Advisor

Job Description: - Client is looking for a Subject Matter Expert (SME) that can support fixed operations training development that targets improving Service Advisor performance. This individual will use their experience in developing and delivering fixed operations training to support the curriculum team in developing Service Advisor performance improvement training. The SME will be responsible for research, content development, and validation/delivery of the training material.
- The focus of the training will be on the knowledge and skills required to create a positive experience for the customer in the complete service process at an Automotive Dealer or Aftermarket Repair Facility.
Role & Responsibilities: - Proven experience as an automotive Service Advisor.
- Proven experience developing and delivering Service Advisor training.
- Exceptional customer service and sales skills with a focus on building trust and rapport.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly motivated and task-driven with the ability to complete tasks with minimum supervision.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with customers, management, and other team members.
- Intermediate computer skills, including the use of the internet, Microsoft Office products and email.
- Proficient in using automotive service software and tools (e.g., Dealer Management Systems)
Required Skills: - Associate's Degree in Automotive Technology, engineering, or other related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years related automotive/manufacturing industry experience.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience working with OEM assembly plants and suppliers.
- Demonstrated knowledge of intricate automotive systems from an advanced diagnostics perspective including troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair.
- Ability to read and interpret a digital multi meter (DMM), OEM Scan Tools and other automotive related diagnostic test equipment.
- Ability to work with both internal and external customers.
- Ability to interpret early engineering level electrical schematic diagrams and documents.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Understand module programming equipment and tools.
- Ability to conduct stand up presentations relaying technical information to multiple groups.
- Ability to Interface with engineering and launch teams with minimal supervision.
- US Citizenship with a valid US passport.
- Ability to travel (Up to 25%).
