As a Automotive Technician I - You will:

Work Schedule 2nd Shift (Mon Fri, 4:30 PM 1:00 AM)

Requirements (Must Haves) :

We are seeking a Field Service Technician I to join our team supporting the Stellantis Field Service Engineering Program. The position is based at a vehicle manufacturing facility in Detroit, MI. As a critical team member, you will support vehicle testing equipment and systems used in the manufacturing process.
This role offers hands-on technical challenges in a dynamic and high-paced environment right inside the automotive assembly line.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily system verifications to ensure all test systems are operational.
  • Continue tasks and troubleshooting efforts from prior shift and document progress clearly.
  • Support and maintain diagnostic tools and test equipment.
  • Interface with vehicles and interpret diagnostic fault codes and electrical issues.
  • Document and communicate findings for continuous workflow between shifts.
  • Follow protocols and operate independently with minimal supervision.
Qualifications & Skill :

Must-Haves:
  • Experience with vehicle diagnostics, fault codes, and automotive electrical/electronic systems.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems; Linux experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
This is a Full Time ,Contract opportunity.

Location : Detroit, MI
Contract : 6+ Months
Pay Rate : $28- 31/hour

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
