This position acts as the main contact between our Guests and our Service Department. This position is responsible for managing Guest interactions, assessing vehicle issues, explaining repairs and costs, and ensuring timely service delivery. Their role involves excellent Guest service, problem-solving, and strong communication skills.
Automotive knowledge and experience are a plus, though they are not required. We have outstanding training opportunities available for those willing to grow.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Positively greet Guests, listen to Guest concerns, and explain service options.
- Diagnose vehicle issues based upon Guest descriptions and vehicle inspections.
- Turn Guest requests into actionable work orders for our technicians.
- Provide accurate quotes/estimates for repairs.
- Effectively manage Guest appointments and coordinate with technicians.
- Keeping Guests informed about the status of repairs and changes.
- Addressing and resolving Guest complaints.
- Maintain positive Guest relationships to encourage repeat business.
- Sell additional services and products when recommended.
- Maintain accurate Guest records and service history.
The workdays for this position are Monday through Friday, with a rotational Saturday. Our facilities are always closed on Sunday. The work hours are either 7:00am to 5:00pm or 8:00am to 6:00pm.
This position is paid on a commission/incentive-based Pay Plan. $38-$70k+/year (commission based). The compensation is comprised of a Base Draw and incentives for key metrics of Guest Service, payable labor sales, and other potential incentives. There is no limit or cap on the incentive amounts.
