House of Harley-Davidson is HIRING NOW for a customer-focused and detail-oriented Service Advisor to join our team. As a Service Advisor, you'll be the key point of contact for customers, assisting with service intake, diagnosing concerns, and ensuring seamless communication throughout the repair process.
You'll also handle over-the-counter parts and accessories sales, manage a personal cash drawer, and help maintain an organized and welcoming showroom. As a Service Advisor, you'll play a vital role in delivering top-tier customer service while supporting both the Service and Parts & Accessories departments. What You'll Do:
- Customer Interaction & Service Intake: Greet customers promptly and courteously, conduct visual walk-around inspections to diagnose concerns, and accurately document them. Review and communicate service estimates, expected completion times, and warranty/recall details while ensuring a seamless intake process.
- Sales & Upselling: Offer additional services, parts, and accessories when appropriate, maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction and encouraging repeat business through exceptional service.
- Work Order & Technician Coordination: Accurately input Repair Orders into the Dealer Management System (DMS), assign jobs based on technician skill level and workload, and track work-in-progress to ensure quality and timeliness.
- Parts & Accessories Management: Verify parts availability for scheduled jobs, assist with internal and wreck repairs, and help restock and organize the Parts & Accessories floor.
- Customer Communication & Issue Resolution: Proactively update customers on job status, delays, or additional work needed. Handle customer concerns with professionalism and work to resolve issues effectively.
- Administrative & Compliance Tasks: Process warranty claims and recalls with Harley-Davidson Motor Company and Extended Warranty providers, handle cashier duties, manage a personal cash drawer, and ensure accurate payment processing. Attend monthly Parts & Service meetings and stay updated on company policies.
- Workplace Organization & Other Duties: Follow Harley-Davidson Motor Company Warranty Certification guidelines, maintain a clean and organized workspace, assist with showroom upkeep, and perform other job-related tasks as assigned.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in customer service, sales, or automotive/motorcycle service advisory preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work weekends as needed.
- Motorcycle Endorsement (preferred but not required).
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs, occasionally bend, stoop, crouch, and reach.
- Shop Environment: Exposure to battery acid, gasoline, cleaning chemicals, and exhaust fumes.
