Job Description Automotive Service Advisor Locations: Greenville, SC
Salary: $55,000 - $65,000
Key Responsibilities - Handle claims-related calls and perform within defined metrics.
- Manage car inspections for claims exceeding certain thresholds or suspected fraud.
- Follow claims procedures as outlined in training and adhere to company policies.
- Provide expert knowledge of contract terms and conditions to agents and clients.
- Identify and escalate potential fraudulent claims.
- Participate in ongoing training for continuous improvement.
Requirements Job Overview We are seeking Automotive Service Advisors to join a dynamic team in the insurance industry. This role supports agents, clients, and customers by adjudicating claims, providing claims status updates, and resolving or escalating customer issues.
The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and technical expertise in vehicle repairs and service contracts and will play a key role in assessing warranty-related issues while ensuring proper claim adjudication.
Job Requirements - Three or more years of experience in the automotive service industry (Service Advisor, Parts Advisor, or Technician/Mechanic).
- Strong automotive technical and mechanical knowledge is required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to pass a background check.
