As a Service Advisor, you will be the primary point of contact for customers seeking service and repairs for their vehicles. Your role is to ensure an exceptional customer experience by effectively communicating service options, managing appointments, and providing accurate information about vehicle maintenance and repairs. You will work closely with technicians and other staff to facilitate timely service and maintain high customer satisfaction
Key Responsibilities: - Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing their service needs and concerns. - Schedule service appointments and manage the service schedule to optimize workflow. - Communicate effectively with customers regarding service recommendations, repair updates, and costs. - Provide clear explanations of services and repairs, ensuring customers understand the work being performed. - Prepare and present service estimates, obtain customer approvals, and process payments. - Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns. - Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service history, and vehicle information. - Collaborate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs and services. - Stay updated on industry trends, service offerings, and manufacturer guidelines. - Uphold company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in automotive technology or customer service is a plus. - Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a customer service role, preferably in the automotive industry. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. - Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude. - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
