Job Title: Parts Advisor
Location: Rochester, Kent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM 5:00 PM (30 mins paid, 30 mins unpaid break)
Salary:
- Semi-skilled: £30,875 per annum
- Experienced: £33,023 per annum
Employment Type: Long-term ongoing work with potential for permanent employment
About the Role:
We re recruiting for an experienced Automotive Parts Advisor to join one of the UK s most respected automotive companies at their site in Rochester. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a stable, long-term role with a chance to go permanent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure parts are stocked, stored, and ready for the technicians and bodyshop teams.
- Monitor inventory levels and order parts from suppliers and manufacturers.
- Accurately update systems and spreadsheets.
- Organise stock and maintain correct storage locations.
- Communicate with suppliers regarding delivery updates, incorrect orders, and enquiries.
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience in an automotive parts or stores environment.
- Confident identifying vehicle parts and required materials.
- Knowledge of invoicing and receipting procedures.
- Solid stock control and management abilities.
- Competent with IT systems and strong communication skills.
