Job DescriptionWe are always looking for talented, self-motivated individuals to join our team at
McDonald CDJR. Currently, we are seeking an enthusiastic self-starter to fill the role of
Automotive Master Technician. A qualified individual will play a key role in ensuring our customers' vehicles are in top shape by diagnosing and repairing vehicles.
ResponsibilitiesAs an Automotive Master Technician, you will:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles with advanced systems.
- Perform repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, HVAC systems, electrical systems, and more.
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify mechanical and safety issues.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and technologies to pinpoint and resolve problems efficiently.
- Communicate clearly with service advisors about vehicle issues and recommended repairs.
- Mentor and support junior technicians, sharing your expertise and knowledge.
- Ensure all work is completed to industry standards and customer expectations.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety protocols.
QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you should have:
- Certification as an ASE Master Technician (or equivalent).
- Extensive knowledge of advanced vehicle systems and diagnostics.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in an automotive repair shop or dealership.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools, software, and repair manuals.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- The ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various physical conditions.
