Role Description

We are looking to hire multiple people in two different department

A skilled upholsterer, and car Interior repair technician and all other related work to the interiors of cars/boats industry, to make and repair our clients vehicles. In these roles, you will be responsible mostly restoring back to original from damage or ware or changing the look to meet the customers desires. You may also be required to dismantle and rebuild seats in which the upholstery has been replaced.

To ensure success as an upholstery or repair, would be best to have in-depth knowledge of what you are working on (Car, Boast) and modern upholstery techniques, a good eye for detail, good with you hands and tools and the ability to visualize design ideas.


Interior Repair automotive interior trim R&I

We are looking to hire Interior repair (vinyl, leather, plastics, and fabrics) Upholstery and interior trim onsite of rental agencies, Auto auctions, Dealerships bodyshops and individuals. We will supply a vehicle and equipment to accomplish this role. You will be selecting the systems and materials for the job, to meet the desired results. You will be required to sometimes dismantle and remove interior trim and seats from automobile, airplane, and boat interiors

Responsibilities

- Repairing, welding, and dying material such as plastics, leather, vinyl, and cloth.

- Visiting off-site locations

- Disassembling car interiors (seats, side panels, dash, and upholstery)

- Color matching

Qualifications

We are looking for someone that has experience and knowledge of what we provide our customers. Has a talent for working with people both customers and coworkers.


Upholstery Position Description

We are looking to hire a skilled upholsterer to make and repair upholstery for our clients. In this role, you will be responsible for meeting with the client or design agent, selecting the appropriate materials for the job, and installing the upholstery to meet the desired specifications. You may also be required to dismantle and rebuild car seats in which the upholstery has been replaced.

To ensure success as an upholsterer, you should have in-depth knowledge of modern upholstery techniques, a good eye for detail, and the ability to visualize design ideas. A top-class Upholsterer perfectly translates the ideas of the client into high-quality furnishings.

Responsibilities:

  • Interpreting design orders and creating upholstery stencils.
  • Selecting and sourcing upholstery materials.
  • Dismantling furniture for upholstery preparation.
  • Measuring and cutting leather or fabric with the aid of design stencils.
  • Installing foam and batting to the furniture framework.
  • Installing and repairing furniture webbing and seating springs.
  • Stretching out and installing fabric or leather coverings.
  • Stitching, gluing, and nailing fabric into place.
  • Smoothing out imperfections.
  • Conducting quality checks on completed orders.

  • Troubleshooting abilities
  • Experience in automotive upholstery design is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Pay is based on experience

Pay structure is hourly with bonus on performance or piece rate/commission in some instances.

Pay can range from $20-34 per hour.
