Automotive Accounting Manager to oversee and manage daily accounting operations. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and efficient accounting processes within the dealership.

Responsibilities - Accounting Manager:
- Oversee and manage all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and reconcile accounts.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, as well as dealership policies.
- Work closely with department managers to optimize financial performance and reporting.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and internal audits.
- Manage cash flow and banking activities.
- Supervise and support the accounting team to maintain efficiency and accuracy.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals as needed.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as an Automotive Accounting Manager or Controller in a franchised dealership is required.
- Strong understanding of dealership accounting, financial reporting, and DMS systems (CDK preferred).
- Knowledge of industry-specific financial regulations and compliance standards.
- Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under deadlines.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred but not required with relevant experience.
- Must have a valid driver's license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Must pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, and drug screening.
