Job Description About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Automation Test Engineer with at least 10 years of hands-on engineering and testing experience in virtualized environments. This role requires expertise in infrastructure as code environments, automated testing, system configurations, and cloud architectures. The ideal candidate will thrive in a high-op-tempo, Top Secret environment supporting federal government missions.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Engineering & Integration:
- Develop, document, and maintain functional, integration, security, and load/stress testing procedures.
- Create and implement automated acceptance, integration, and regression testing strategies.
Release Management: Assist in developing release management processes, procedures, and policies.
- Maintain the Release Management Plan and Release Schedule.
- Conduct site surveys to assess software and hardware requirements for release packages.
Implementation & Migration: Support migration of customer data and metadata onto the CESO architecture.
- Develop and document implementation and migration procedures.
- Install or migrate new and upgraded service components into operations.
Requirements Required Qualifications:
- BS degree and 4+ years of hands-on engineering experience in virtualized environments (additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).
- Must possess an active DOD Top Secret level security clearance, and be eligible to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI. May be asked to obtain CI Poly in future.
- Any IAT Level II Baseline Certification (e.g. CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP)
- Networking and operating systems knowledge.
- Virtualization, VM image builds & security hardening.
- Experience in high-op-tempo, Top Secret environments.
Preferred Qualifications: • DISA experience and familiarity with DISA's support to mission partners.
• Active TS/SCI with CI Poly (highly preferred).
