What you'll do:

  • Completes work assignments by utilizing resources, collaborating with stakeholders, identifying priorities, communicating progress, determining improvement opportunities, and adapting to difficulties and feedback
  • Programs and troubleshoots automated control systems like integration, electronics, robotics, fiber optic sensors, pneumatic-hydraulic controls, touch panels, programmable logic controls, and human machine interface
  • Utilizes one-line and electrical schematic designs, electrical equipment controls, instrumentations, and configurations (for example, pump/Variable Frequency Drive, Allen Bradley, Factory Talk, Siemens, B&R brand controllers and systems)
  • Provides on-call remote and on-site technical support for automation equipment and trains associates on operation and repair
  • Manages daily operations of automation systems by performing routine maintenance, upgrading and replacing components and control systems, continuously monitoring processes, and correcting malfunctions
  • Completes work orders, records, logs, and other written or computer-based documents according to established procedures
  • Supports plant operation quality and continuous improvement programs like Break Down Analysis and Break Down Deployments

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent and 1+ years' experience in maintenance or related field.

OR

  • 3+ years' experience in maintenance or related field
  • Professional certification in engineering, technology, or related field
  • 1+ years' experience in maintenance or related field
  • 2+ years' experience in PLC AND Robot Programming (experience with Allen Bradley/Rockwell PLC programming AND Kuka Robotics or Fanuc Robotics programming/troubleshooting) - MUST HAVE

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, technology, or related field
  • 3+ years' experience in maintenance or control automation
