Description:

• We are seeking an Automation Software Engineer to develop and maintain automation systems that drive operational efficiency.

• This role involves analyzing current operations, designing and implementing innovative solutions, and ensuring that software applications meet project goals and deliverables.

• The ideal candidate will bring a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Required Skills:

• Proven experience in designing and programming control systems for automation.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as C and .NET.

• Hands-on experience with PLC programming, including platforms like Allen Bradley, RSLogix5000, and Structured Text.

• Familiarity with communication protocols such as MQTT, REST APIs, RS232, TCP/IP, and Modbus.

• Strong ability to troubleshoot and debug complex systems.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with WiFi network design and Microsoft-based development environments.

• Knowledge of CAD tools, specifically AutoDesk AutoCAD Electrical.

• Background in Windows software development and additional programming frameworks.

• Certification in PLC programming or related areas.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.

Compensation:
Pay Range: $87500K-$125000K
