Automation and Electrical Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to design, develop, and integrate electrical systems and equipment tailored for various industrial applications. Your expertise will help enhance power systems, instrumentation, computer-based control systems, and testing methodologies at high power and voltage levels. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional with a solid foundation in electrical engineering, automation technology, and system integration, aimed at improving industrial processes for optimal performance, reliability, and safety.
Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement comprehensive electrical and automation systems for diverse industrial settings.
- Integrate power distribution networks, instrumentation, and advanced control systems to maximize operational efficiency.
- Create and revise electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panel layouts.
- Program and configure PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), industrial PCs, I/O systems, and other control devices.
- Conduct rigorous high-power/high-voltage testing along with effective troubleshooting of electrical systems.
- Carry out system analysis, testing, and validation to adhere to safety and regulatory guidelines.
- Engage and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical and software engineers, and project managers to ensure integrated automation solutions.
- Assist in the commissioning, startup, and routine maintenance of electrical automation systems at manufacturing facilities.
- Remain informed about technological advancements and industry best practices to enhance system reliability and performance.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in industrial automation, electrical system design, or a comparable area.
- Proficient in designing and programming industrial control systems utilizing PLCs, HMIs, PCs, and communication protocols.
- Experience with power distribution, motor control systems, and variable frequency drives (VFDs).
- Knowledgeable in high-power/high-voltage testing practices and electrical safety regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve complex electrical challenges.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to travel to manufacturing sites as required for installations, commissioning, and support.
Preferred Skills: - Experience with robotic systems and motion control technologies.
- Understanding of industrial networking and communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Modbus, PROFIBUS).
- Familiarity with standards like IEEE, NEC, NFPA 70E, and IEC.
