The Quality Assurance Automation Engineer will work with the Winsupply IT department and QA analysts throughout the entire life cycle of projects, enhancements and fixes. This will include, but is not limited to, involvement in requirements phase, conceptual design, developing automated tests, manual testing and coordinating User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with the end users of the products and implementation. Automation Engineers main responsibilities are creating and maintaining the automation test suite written with a Selenium framework.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or related experience
- Ability to provide attention to detail, thoroughness and ownership in all duties
- Proficient in written and oral communications
- Ability to follow a test script and provide appropriate results and feedback
- Ability to learn and utilize WISE and other Winsupply platforms
- Demonstrate the ability to prioritize and complete tasks based on established time lines
- Effectively work and cooperate with other departments within Winsupply
- Knowledge of Agile approach to software development
- Knowledge of JIRA or equivalent software package to log bug fixes and track project work through the software lifecycle
- Strong knowledge of testing disciplines and methodologies
- Proficiency in QA best practices and standards
- 3-5 years of Java experience
- 3-5 years of Selenium experience
- 1+ years of experience with Git and Jenkins
- Experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, Javascript, Json, XML)
- Experience with SQL
