Mitchell 1 (a division of Snap-on Tools) has an opening for a Product Content Support Rep(Auto Technician Customer Support) to start ASAP.
This position requires hands-on professional automotive repair knowledge.
This position is an in-office Full time role, Monday-Friday, that is located at the Mitchell 1 headquarters in the San Diego office.
Please do not apply if you do not have automotive experience and can not work onsite at our San Diego location, M-F.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Automotive knowledge required.
- Experience in a customer service role with telephone contact is preferred.
- A High School diploma or equivalent is required. Some college courses are a plus.
- Heavy-duty truck knowledge is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, and a professional demeanor.
- Ability to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple tasks accurately and work well under pressure.
- Min. 1 year of experience working with PC-based applications.
- ASE certifications preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Respond to customers politely and attentively and always maintain a professional, helpful attitude.
- Provide immediate determination of customer needs. To resolve or route calls appropriately.
- Document all inquiries received via telephone or email.
- Assist customers with product content questions.
- Accurately update and maintain the incidents in the tracking software package.
- Follow the procedures set in the product content support job guidelines.
- 50 %+ of the day is spent helping customers over the telephone.
Pay rate: $28/HR
Schedule/Hours -Monday-Friday - 7:30 am-4:00 pm. (no weekends)
Overtime available after training.
