Auto Parts Experience is Required.
Parts Management Experience is Preferred.


A leading dealership in the South-Central Pennsylvania area is seeking to hire a Parts Manager to oversee and manage our profitable Parts Department, maintain optimal pricing and inventory, train and manage staff, and more. This role requires strong leadership skills, automotive parts knowledge, and a dedication to providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities - Parts Manager:


  • Forecasting parts needs and ordering parts to maintain optimal inventory levels
  • Monitoring the current parts inventory
  • Pricing parts to maintain profitability
  • Receiving parts, including placing them into inventory and properly labeling them
  • Helping customers find and purchase the correct parts
  • Overseeing special orders
  • Collaborating with service managers to ensure all parts are available for repair jobs
  • Hiring, supervising, and training parts department staff members
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications/Requirements - Parts Manager:


  • 3 or more years of Auto Parts experience is required
  • Parts Manager experience is preferred
  • Dealership Service Management experience is also welcome
  • Regular, in-person attendance required as scheduled
  • Sales and customer service skills if working with the public
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Mathematical skills to help manage the inventory, pricing, and estimates
  • Problem-solving skills to deal with parts inventory issues
  • Previous mechanic skills is preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and sometimes loud environment
  • Leadership skills to keep the parts department running smoothly
  • Product knowledge to ensure parts are identified and recommended correctly
