PAY RANGE: $16.36 - $19.25 per hour
POSITION SUMMARY
Provides overall support to the Automotive Technology program. Assists the Parts Department by managing inventory; sourcing, picking up, and delivering automotive parts, tools, and supplies to the lab; preparing customer invoices and cashiering. Assists the automotive lab technicians and program instructors by providing student support and customer coordination.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Prepare parts and supply orders for Automotive Program.
- Sourcing, pick-up, and delivery of automotive parts
- Inventory control
- Creating invoices and cashiering
- Responsible for all purchases, making sure all items purchased are coded to the correct accounts.
- Maintain catalogs, websites, handbooks- keeping them up to date along with pricing information.
- Review new websites, dealerships, jobber stores, salvage yards, etc.
- Manage vendors and suppliers.
- Assist students with parts identity and locating correct items for repairs.
- Filing, keeping work orders, warranties, and tool invoices.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: Technical school or other training in automotive parts.
Experience: Two years of parts sourcing experience in an auto repair facility. Candidates should have a basic understanding of automobiles and be able to effectively communicate information to customers when necessary.
