About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Auto Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and performing maintenance on a variety of vehicles. Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles.
- Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, brake inspections, and tire rotations.
- Conduct inspections and identify necessary repairs to ensure vehicle safety and performance.
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot issues.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and parts used.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience:
- Proven experience as an auto mechanic or automotive technician.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
- Strong understanding of vehicle systems, including engines, brakes, transmissions, and electrical systems.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to pass a vision and hearing test.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ASE Certification or other relevant automotive certifications.
- Experience with fleet maintenance or commercial vehicles.
- Knowledge of computerized diagnostic systems.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
