Auto Financial Services Assistant/FSA

We are seeking a full-time Automotive Financial Services Assistant/FSA to play a key role in supporting both the finance and sales departments, ensuring a seamless and efficient buying process for customers. This position requires the FSA to work closely with sales managers, sales consultants, and the accounting office to guarantee the timely, accurate, and ethical processing of all vehicle deals. The FSA is responsible for reviewing paperwork meticulously to identify any errors, imperfections, or miscalculations.
The ideal employee will be organized, proactive, and detail-oriented with a passion for supporting a team in a fast-paced environment. They will have strong problem-solving skills and a customer-centric approach, with the ability to manage multiple tasks while ensuring accuracy and timely completion. A flexible attitude to assist with a variety of tasks, including those outside of the primary responsibilities, is essential.
The schedule will be primarily a 40 hour per week position with limited overtime available. Saturdays and evenings are required with Sundays off and one other day off during the week.
Key Responsibilities - FSA:
- Receive and review automotive deal paperwork from the sales department for processing.
- Accurately enter data into Dealer Track and Route One programs in a timely manner.
- Print all necessary paperwork related to vehicle sales, finance, and insurance products.
- Produce check requests and prepare accounting documents required by the accounting office.
- Address any contract issues in collaboration with the sales manager or bank as needed.
- Maintain a detailed and accurate plate log for NH/VT DMV within the dealership.
- Process payments and issue receipts as requested.
- Work closely with the accounting office to resolve any discrepancies or inaccuracies in paperwork.
- Assist the accounting office with various tasks as needed.
- Perform additional tasks and help with various projects as needed, providing support wherever requested.
Qualifications - FSA:
- A business background, strong work ethic, team-oriented attitude, and excellent computer skills are highly desirable
- Strong typing, filing, reception, and general office skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.
- Ability to interact with customers, company staff, and external contacts in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as necessary.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of the automotive industry is preferred but not required.
