We are seeking a full-time and EXPERIENCED, knowledgeable, and detail-oriented Parts Specialist to be responsible for managing the procurement and inventory of automotive parts and ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently. You will play a crucial role in supporting our dealership's operations by ensuring that the right parts are available when needed.

This is a union position. Auto parts experience is required. Auto dealership parts experience is preferred. The ideal candidate will also have experience in the automotive service industry, mechanical knowledge, and a strong background in supply chain management and retail sales.

Responsibilities - Parts Specialist:

• Manage automotive parts inventory levels to ensure availability for service and repair operations.
• Procure auto parts from suppliers, including OEMs, while maintaining strong supplier relationships.
• Assist in equipment repair by providing necessary parts and technical support.
• Utilize inventory management systems to track part usage and order history.
• Collaborate with service technicians to identify parts needs for repairs and maintenance.
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions related to parts procurement and inventory management.
• Conduct regular audits of inventory to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries related to parts availability and specifications.

Qualifications - Parts Specialist:

• Auto parts experience is required. Auto dealership parts experience is preferred.
• Proven experience in supply chain management or procurement management within the automotive industry.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with an understanding of equipment repair processes.
• Familiarity with dealership operations and automotive service requirements is preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and suppliers.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and tools.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• HONDA EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
