The Tax Senior will play a key role in delivering high-quality tax services to our clients, including individuals, businesses, and non-profit organizations. Job Details

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Audit Senior, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Leading and managing audits for a diverse portfolio of clients, including: Construction, Real Estate, Manufacturing & Distribution, Private Equity, Non-Profit Organizations and more.
2. Utilizing audit software to analyze financial data and identify any discrepancies or areas of concern.
3. Preparing detailed reports on audit findings and presenting these reports to management, suggesting changes to improve efficiencies and reduce costs where possible.
4. Mentoring and guiding junior staff, fostering a supportive and collaborative working environment.
5. Ensuring all financial statements are accurate and comply with regulations and accounting principles.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Audit Senior position will have the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; Master's degree or additional coursework preferred
2. CPA license or actively pursuing CPA certification
3. Two or more years of recent public accounting experience, with a focus on audit engagements
4. Strong understanding of financial statements and the ability to analyze and interpret complex financial data.
5. Proficiency with audit software (e.g., CCH ProSystem fx, CaseWare, or similar)
6. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
7. Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide junior staff.
