Role Overview
As an Audiovisual Systems Design Engineer at Showy, you'll take the lead in specifying and designing integrated audiovisual systems-from early strategy to technical execution. You'll work closely with clients, architects, and our internal teams to bring best-in-class AV experiences to life.
Technical Skills
- Deep expertise in audiovisual equipment specifications, interoperability, and performance requirements
- Proficient in AV system design, network integration, control systems, and cross-disciplinary coordination
- Strong understanding of architectural integration, electrical and HVAC considerations, acoustics, lighting, and structural mounting
- Develop and manage system drawings, rack elevations, signal flow diagrams, and infrastructure layouts
- Experience with RFP administration, contractor bid leveling, and vendor coordination
- Skilled in translating user requirements into functional system designs
- Knowledge of collaboration platforms, broadcast systems, and IT system interoperability

Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, information technology or related engineering, and design fields.
- 7 to 10-years of work experience and examples of projects showing relevant experience.

Required: Excel, AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Acrobat
