Position Summary: The AV Technician will provide essential support for the installation and integration of AV systems under the guidance of senior technicians. These roles are responsible for assisting with the installation, configuration, and testing of AV equipment as part of system integration projects (installing Biamp Crestron Shure etc.). The technician will work closely with other team members to ensure the smooth setup and functionality of AV solutions, and will be expected to perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance tasks. Daily responsibilities include:
- Aid in the physical installation of audio, video, and control systems, including the mounting of projectors, displays, speakers, and other equipment.
- Perform basic functionality tests on installed equipment to ensure that all devices are operating as expected.
- Perform Identify and assist in the resolution of simple technical issues related to installation or system setup
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment during installation and integration tasks
- 1-2 years (shadowing a senior tech)
Required skills:
- Prior experience with AV installation - preferably of permanent systems
- Experience running, pulling, and terminating cable
- Familiarity and experience within a construction site setting

$35/hr to $40/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
