Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Audio-Visual Technician / AV Integration Specialist to join our team in Herndon, VA. This role supports proprietary programs by delivering, integrating, and maintaining complex AV solutions in mission-critical environments for both commercial and government customers. Key Responsibilities: Identify, evaluate, and document AV system requirements. Assist in the design, build, and testing of AV delivery systems and components. Translate customer needs into detailed system requirements and integrated designs. Perform system integration, hardware/software installation, configuration, and upgrades. Manage product and component selection to ensure technical and cost-effective solutions. Evaluate usability, performance, and security of AV products for integration. Plan and coordinate complex AV network hardware/software deployments. Ensure systems meet architectural and operational objectives. Troubleshoot and resolve complex AV system issues. Basic Qualifications: Active TS/SCI w/Active Counterintelligence Polygraph (CIP) with ability to obtain Full Scope Polygraph (FSP) post-start. 3+ years of experience setting up and supporting large-scale AV systems. 3+ years of experience in AV integration and implementation. 3+ years of experience communicating technical information to customers. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field. CTS or CTS-I certification. Experience creating system design artifacts using CAD or Visio (e.g., signal flow diagrams, BOMs). Experience with control systems such as Cisco Hyperflex, Crestron, Thinklogical. Experience with audio DSPs such as Biamp or QSC. Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of related experience An ACTIVE U.S. Government Security Clearance is Required to be considered for this role.
