Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
  • Aggressively develops and constantly grows new sales opportunities via personal interaction, research of business opportunity boards and postings, social media, expos, professional connections, etc.
  • Develops high-end audio, video, and teleconferencing system designs and parts lists for proposals.
  • Attends site surveys and develops bid proposals and pricing.
  • Development of CAD or Visio wiring diagrams, custom wall plate designs, installation plans, etc.
  • Positive and effective interaction with customers in absence of Project Manager.
  • Drafting of technical support documentation including operational instructions and manuals.
  • Assistance to Sales Department with contract pricing.
  • Other unlisted duties as required.
Position Requirements:
  • 3 years of AV systems design and proposal writing.
  • Experience in signal flow, installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and operation of AV/VTC systems (i.e., VTC codecs, audio mixers, control systems, AV automation, wiring, amplifiers, microphones, projection systems, video cameras, and other A/V peripheral equipment).
  • Experience maintaining a professional attitude, capable of dealing with clients from all organizational levels, and working well in high-pressure environments.
  • Excellent communication and computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
  • Superior ability to multi-task while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License.
  • Must be able to pass a background check at military installations.
Preferred:
  • Systems installation, commissioning, and operation experience highly preferred (experienced service techs are welcome to apply if willing to learn).
  • Active Secret or Top Secret clearance highly preferred.
  • Current or retired military members highly preferred.
  • Prior experience in network management highly preferred.
  • AutoCAD or Visio drawing experience.
  • AVIXA CTS (Certified Technical Specialist)
  • CTS-D (Design)
  • CTS-I (Installation)
  • Crestron, AMX, Extron, and Biamp certifications
Physical Demands:
  • Employee will occasionally have to assist in moving and lifting equipment weighing up to 40 pounds.
  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard is necessary.
  • Sitting for extended periods of time will be common.
