Responsibilities:
Manage the entire audio production process from pre-production and tracking to mixing and mastering.
The Audio Engineer shall have a proven history of the basic methods and techniques required of a skilled audio engineer and possess the technical aptitude and background in the practical application of audio editing, mixing, sound effects, and audio sweetening in video production.
The Audio Engineer shall have industry ready post-production skills such as field recording, film mixing, editing, and ADR prior to employment.
The Audio Engineer shall provide audio services, to include all phases of video production and perform as an audio engineer at multiple events and be able to assist with video productions.
The Audio Engineer shall be tasked with supporting audiovisual presentation services at the Jacobs Conference Center, Wylie Theater, and other locations as well as studio operations and live video streaming services. Qualifications:
Must have and maintain a Secret Level security clearance
Minimum five (5) years of audio engineering/production experience with the ability to take the ProTools certification exams or Logic certification exam. Physical Requirements The physical demands described herein are representative of those which may need to be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Employees must possess the ability to work in an office environment. If required, employees must be able to operate a motor vehicle which may require sitting for prolonged periods of time to visit other company sites. Must have hearing and speech to communicate in person, before groups, and over the telephone. Standing in work areas and walking between work areas may be required. This position may require an employee to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb or balance, reach, push, and pull. The employee may also be required to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
