Business Litigation Associate


A distinguished multi-service law firm located in downtown San Jose is seeking a talented mid-level associate attorney with strong business litigation experience to join our team. Key Qualifications:

  • Must be a current and active member of the State Bar of California, in good standing.
  • In-depth knowledge of the California Code of Civil Procedure and Evidence Code.
  • Hands-on litigation experience, including pleadings, discovery (drafting demands and responses), motion practice, courtroom appearances, depositions (taking and defending), mediations, and settlement negotiations.
  • Collaborative team player, able to work effectively across practice groups.
  • Prior private law practice experience, ideally with responsibilities for client matters (under supervision) and disciplined contemporaneous timekeeping.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently identify issues, anticipate litigation strategies, and provide recommendations.
  • Strong academic credentials and a proven track record of excellence.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, paired with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Outstanding legal research abilities, as well as proficiency in factual and investigative research.
  • High work ethic with a dedication to delivering top-tier results and a drive to continuously expand skills and knowledge.
