Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in workers' compensation proceedings
- Conduct legal research, analyze complex issues, and draft legal documents
- Attend hearings and depositions
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
- Collaborate with all levels of stakeholders both internal and external
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues
Requirements
Job Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active membership in California State Bar
- Ability to analyze complex legal issues and devise solutions
- Proactive, client-centered, and tech-savvy
- Superior organizational, multi-task, and prioritization skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in defense of workers' compensation claims
