Position Summary: We are seeking an attorney experienced in commercial litigation who is motivated, business-oriented, and has excellent research, writing, and communication skills, as well as a desire to build a successful career in these practice areas. The ideal candidate has a background in construction law. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and court appearances.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on complex commercial and construction law issues.
• Attend depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
• Manage case files and maintain strong client relationships.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on complex litigation matters.
• Stay current on legal developments affecting clients and industries served by the firm.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York Bar.
• 3-10 years of experience in litigation (experience in construction law is preferred but not required).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated interest in commercial and/or construction law.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
