Our client, a leading tax and accounting software provider, is actively hiring a Marketing Attorney to join their team in Mountain View, CA. This role will be hybrid and require 3x a week onsite.
This is a 5-month W2 contract with benefits and paid holidays offered.
In this role, you will provide legal counsel and ensure regulatory compliance with all marketing materials related to lending, including print, radio, and social media. You will review a wide variety of marketing materials and provide legal advice as well as suggestions to ensure all materials remain compliant.
Responsibilities:
- Review all lending marketing, social media, and sales materials
- Communicate legal concerns on the materials and recommend changes to team members to ensure the content is compliant
- Provide legal counsel on the development and launch of new lending products
- Serve as the primary day-to-day legal/compliance partner for the lending marketing team
Skills:
- Must have a J.D from an accredited law school
- Membership in good standing with at least one US State Bar
- 5-10+ years of professional legal experience reviewing marketing materials
- Knowledge of financial services regulations (RESPA, SAFE Act, and others) is a plus
