What You'll Be Doing
The Attorney will be representing clients in family court proceedings or in related negotiations.
Supervise support team
Communicate with support team
Interact with court personnel
Update clients regarding their legal matter
Research solutions to achieve the best results possible for the client
Review and revise documents drafted by support team
Draft pleadings, orders or motions if needed
Work with support team to prepare exhibits and required documents for hearings and trials
Input time into the billing system
Input notes into Needles
Email correspondence
Attend hearings, trials, and mediations
Provide representation for clients in court in legal cases as pertains to family law
Oversee and manage the legal issues that transpire between parties
Uphold a steady schedule of hearings, court appearances, and conferences
What You Bring
The full time Family Law Attorney will have 3-5 years of experience assisting clients.
Requirements:
3-5 years family law experience
Active member of State Bar
Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus but not required.
