Position Overview:

This role offers the chance to manage your own family law caseload while working alongside a supportive team that prioritizes service, teamwork, and excellence. From divorce and custody matters to support and modifications, you'll serve as a trusted advisor and advocate, always with the firm's values as your guide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in a wide range of family law matters including divorce, custody, modifications, child/spousal support, adoptions, and protective orders
  • Draft, review, and file legal documents: pleadings, agreements, motions, and orders
  • Appear in court for hearings, mediations, and trials
  • Develop case strategies and counsel clients on their rights and options
  • Collaborate closely with a team of attorneys, paralegals, and support staff
  • Maintain proactive communication with clients throughout the legal process
  • Contribute to a firm culture that values trust, integrity, and excellence
  • Billable hour requirement of 1,560 hours per year

What We're Looking For:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) and active license to practice law in Texas
  • 2+ years of experience in family law required
  • Strong litigation, negotiation, and client communication skills
  • Empathetic and grounded, with a heart for helping families through transition
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple cases
  • A true team player who values collaboration and continuous improvement
