Hansell Tierney is seeking a contract Business Analyst to execute two key projects within our client's Atlassian suite: the Procurement and Contracts Management Project and the Job Requisition Project. The ideal candidate will drive stakeholder engagement, project development, documentation, advisory services, and specific work related to these projects.
Duration: 3 - 4 months
Location: Seattle, WA - Hybrid

Key Responsibilities:Stakeholder Engagement - Identify and engage key stakeholders
- Conduct meetings and interviews to gather requirements and needs
- Document stakeholder expectations and requirements
Project Space Development: - Assess the Atlassian suite's current project space, workflows, and resources. Design new or modify existing project space and workflows to align with stakeholder requirements
- Implement changes to ensure the project space meets functional and operational needs
Documentation: - Create comprehensive documentation to support the changes made to the project space
- Include detailed descriptions, schematics, and operational guidelines
- Ensure documentation is clear, concise, and easily accessible to stakeholders
Advisory Services: - Review the system for potential misconfigurations
- Provide recommendations on best practices to ensure system security and reliability
- Offer ongoing advisory support to address emerging issues and optimize system performance
Specific Work to be Performed: - Conduct requirement meetings to determine needed additions and modifications within the Atlassian suite
- Provide recommendations on best practices that align with the process to ensure reliability and system security
- Determine scope of time to allocate and present that to the stakeholder and IT Manager for approval
- Upon approval, perform the needed additions, modifications, and best practices to identified Screens, Workflows, and Automations within the Atlassian suite
- Review changes with stakeholders for sign-off
- Provide relevant documentation to support the changes made to the project space and for potential future troubleshooting needs
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in procurement and contracts management or job requisition projects within the Atlassian suite.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to assess and develop project spaces and workflows within the Atlassian suite.
- Proficiency in creating comprehensive documentation.
- Knowledge of best practices for system security and reliability.
- Excellent advisory and support skills.
Estimated compensation varies considerably depending on experience: $40.00 - $80.00/hr
