Volunteer coaches and game workers must be in good standing with the school district as well as approved by the KCSD Board of Directors.

Volunteer coaches must clearly understand their duties and responsibilities including the duty to comply with all school district rules, policies and regulations. A volunteer coach may serve only in a support capacity under the supervision of the head coach and/or assistant coach who is employed by the school district. This means a volunteer coach is not permitted to supervise or conduct practices/workouts on his/her own. Volunteer coaches shall receive no financial remuneration from the school district or athletic booster clubs.

Volunteer game workers must clearly understand their duties and responsibilities including the duty to comply with all school district rules, policies and regulations. A volunteer game worker may serve only as the position they are assigned at each athletic event under the supervision of the Game Manager and/or Athletic Director who are employed by the school district. A volunteer game worker shall received no financail remuneration from the school district or athletic booster clubs.
