Summary:
The Assistant Principal 1, High will assist with the provision of instructional, administrative, and operational leadership of a high school.
SUPERVISORY EXPECTATIONS: Manage assigned clerical staff and subordinate professional personnel in one or more sections of the department. Take responsibility for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of assigned teams. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the district's policies and applicable state and federal laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

• Assists with oversight of and responsibility for the accuracy and timeliness of the school's records and reports.
• Assists with oversight of and responsibility for the school's administration and operation.
• Assists with oversight of and responsibility for the school's property and physical plant.
• Assists with the provision of leadership in the development or revision and implementation of the School Improvement Plan.
• Performs any other duties as assigned.
