Are you looking for a role where you can genuinely make a difference, grow your skills, and feel like part of a family? This privately owned, multi-doctor small animal practice in Southwest Michigan might be just what you're after.
Set across two locations in friendly rural communities, this practice combines the heart of hometown veterinary care with the capabilities of a modern medical facility. One location has just opened the doors to a stunning, brand-new clinic-designed from the ground up to support efficient, top-quality care with digital X-ray, surgical and treatment suites, in-house lab, and much more. The second site operates three days a week and focuses on wellness visits, routine procedures, and outpatient surgeries.
The practice offers everything you'd expect in a strong GP setting, plus a few extras-including orthopedic and advanced dental procedures that attract referrals from neighboring clinics. Support is never in short supply, with a 3:1 support staff ratio and a team of CVT's, many of whom have been with the clinic for 10, 15, even 20 years. The culture is grounded in kindness, loyalty, and a shared love of animals-and it shows in everything from the team dynamic to the loyal client base.
Your schedule? Four days a week plus one Saturday a month. Your day starts with morning appointments, followed by dedicated surgery time, a proper lunch break, and afternoon appointments. Appointment times are generous-20 minutes for wellness, 40 for sick visits-giving you the time and breathing room to do your best work.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a new grad or experienced vet looking for a place to grow. The clinic has a strong history of mentorship and is excited to support the next generation of veterinarians. If you're collaborative, independent, and enjoy building real relationships with your team and clients, you'll fit right in.
Compensation includes a base salary with amazing production incentives. Benefits include health insurance, 401(k), generous PTO, CE allowance, paid dues and VIN membership, and discount on your own pet care.
If you've been seeking a role that combines clinical challenge with genuine connection-this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for.
