The COMET contract provides overall management and implementation of ground systems capabilities, flight hardware processing, and launch operations at NASA's Kennedy Space Center (KSC) in Florida. These tasks will support the International Space Station, Ground Systems Development and Operations, and the Space Launch System, Orion Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle, and Launch Services programs.
Responsibilities Areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:
Coordinate with Engineers, Planners, Flow Managers and Shop Leadership to build and post daily schedules.
- Integrated data driven and resource loaded planning to support stakeholder requirements.
- Integrate with operation managers, engineers, integrated planners, schedulers, and external customers to coordinate multiple agency schedules.
- Recognize and collaborate conflicts into work around solutions to minimize schedule impacts.
- Collaborate with interdepartmental agencies to build complex project work schedules for the development of aerospace systems.
- Manage readiness and workflow of all work authorized documents (WADs) of all systems position is responsible for.
