Description
Position Summary: The Associate Scheduler plans and organizes a manufacturing work schedule. They work with many team members to ensure that production runs smoothly and on time.
Roles and Responsibilities/ Essential Functions:- Understand and support the company's Core Values
- Carry out planning and coordination of production schedules
- Coordinate with other teams to resolve issues
- Create manufacturing work orders based off MRP suggestions.
- Review raw material suggestions based off MRP create appropriate PO recommendations
- Revise schedule as needed and alerts appropriate staff of schedule changes or delays
- Revise planning as necessary and implement expedites as required
- Generate production reports to assist Master Scheduler
- Understand and utilize Advance Planning Software (Planet Together)
- Other duties as assigned

Required Experience: - Two years' previous experience in a similar position
- A basic knowledge of computer software and operation
Required Skills, Education and/ or Certifications: - Must have working knowledge of the use of a PC and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Planning and time management
- Communication to include interpersonal skills to get along well with others
- Ability to effectively utilize Advanced Planning Software, Dynamics, Great Plains and MRP
Preferred Skills, Education and/or Certification: - High School Diploma or GED
- Technical Certification or associate's degree in printing processes
