The Associate Product Manager will help drive brand strategy and assist in developing and implementing tactics for Sun's commercialized products.
What you will do:
  • Support marketing initiatives, focused on healthcare practitioners and patients which will be delivered via the sales force as well as "non-personal" channels such as the internet, direct mail, congresses, and advertising
  • Regular interaction with advertising and medical communication agencies and frequent contact with the field sales organization
  • Assist with progressing new projects through concept, development, cross-functional review, production and dissemination
  • Manage non-personal promotion programs from ideation through creation, approval and dissemination
  • Manage and execute multiple media projects with partner vendors
  • Assist with development, tracking and management of promotional budget
  • Serves as the project manager for multiple regional and national congresses per year (may also provide support for other congresses) attending some to manage on site set-up and opening processes
  • Runs strategic alignment meetings including collecting the right agenda topics, ensuring the right discussions/decisions are made, and captures the minutes/action items post meeting
  • Work collaboratively with other product managers and key functional stakeholders across the Sun organization
For this role you will need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) or similar life experience with 2+ years of experience preferably in biopharmaceutical sales or marketing
  • Comfortable with fast-paced environment and possess strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Strong management, project management and planning skills, and comfortable making decisions and embracing changes
  • Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in matrix organizational structure
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently and prioritize tasks
  • Outcome orientation and a strong desire to plan to measure the success of initiatives
  • Motivated by team success and seek to develop collaborative relationships from internal and external stakeholders
  • Microsoft Outlook including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Ability to travel approximately 30%
