Position Overview

The Associate Operations Manager will support the firm's daily operational activities, ensuring efficiency and alignment with established processes. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with 3-5 years of experience looking to grow within the real estate investment industry. The position focuses on process execution, reporting, and team coordination while providing learning opportunities under the Head of Operations.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in implementing and maintaining operational processes to ensure smooth workflows across investment, property management, and development functions.
  • Track and document project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Support coordination between internal teams to streamline communication and task execution.
  • Monitor and report on project milestones and progress updates.
  • Provide financial data and reports to support decision-making, without direct responsibility for in-depth financial modeling.
  • Help maintain and optimize software tools for property management and operational tracking.
  • Ensure proper documentation and adherence to internal processes.
  • Gather and compile data for performance reporting and key operational metrics.
  • Identify process inefficiencies and escalate issues to the Head of Operations.

Tasks

  • Maintain up-to-date records of operational workflows and process documentation.
  • Assist in organizing and tracking operational data, ensuring accurate reporting.
  • Coordinate between teams to facilitate project tracking and timely completion of tasks.
  • Support the onboarding and training of staff on operational procedures and software.
  • Assist in reviewing and maintaining compliance with internal operational policies.
  • Help track and manage deliverables related to investment and property management projects.
  • Ensure smooth integration and utilization of operational technology solutions.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in operations, preferably within real estate, finance, property management, or investment firms.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
  • Persuasive management to influence change and foster collaboration and/or prior supervisory or managerial experience. Experience in change management a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on process execution and efficiency.
  • Familiarity with financial reporting and operational budgeting (experience with financial modeling is a plus but not required).
  • Experience using property management or financial software (e.g., Yardi, MRI, or similar platforms).
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to coordinate across teams.
  • Willingness to learn and take on increasing responsibility within the firm.
