As an Associate Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the full lifecycle of projects, from design and analysis to fabrication and implementation. You will work closely with experienced engineers, contributing your skills and learning to develop innovative solutions for our clients. This role is ideal for an individual with a solid foundation in mechanical engineering principles, a passion for problem-solving, and a desire to grow within a dynamic and challenging industry.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design, analysis, and development of mechanical systems and components for a variety of complex manufacturing projects.
  • Create and modify detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD), ensuring adherence to industry standards and client specifications.
  • Perform engineering calculations and analyses, including stress analysis, thermal analysis, and fluid dynamics, to validate designs and ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to develop and refine design concepts, considering factors such as manufacturability, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
  • Prepare technical documentation, including bills of materials, design specifications, and test procedures, to support the manufacturing process.
  • Work closely with manufacturing personnel to ensure designs are effectively translated into producible products, providing technical support and resolving any manufacturing-related issues.
  • Participate in design reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and standards.
  • Conduct testing and analysis of prototypes and finished products to verify design performance and identify areas for optimization.
  • Assist in the selection of materials and components, considering factors such as strength, durability, and cost.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in mechanical engineering and manufacturing technologies.
  • Ensure all designs and engineering activities comply with relevant industry codes, standards, and safety regulations.
  • Contribute to the development of proposals and project estimates.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited program, providing a strong foundation in engineering principles.
  • 0-3 years of experience in a mechanical engineering role, preferably within a manufacturing or related industry.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for creating and modifying 3D models and 2D drawings.
  • Strong understanding of fundamental mechanical engineering principles, including statics, dynamics, strength of materials, and thermodynamics.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply engineering principles to develop effective solutions.
  • Strong communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and challenges.
  • Familiarity with FEA (Finite Element Analysis) software is a plus.
  • Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles.
