We are looking for a Associate Manager, Visual Merchandising who is responsible for creating and executing merchandising strategies throughout multiple divisions, responsible for the "look" of the store utilizing extensive High, Mid, Low inventory and volume information while maximizing the space and layout for multiple store types (including Tech2/Applemaple, technicolor, outlet, big box and tech2).This position supports all store-facing projects, partnering with key cross-functional teams such as Allocations, Merchants, Planning and Store Operations.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Developing and implementing visual merchandising strategies to meet business goals within respected divisions from concept to live floorset dates
  • Ability to create high-level Seasonal plans to be presented in Executive Decks
  • Ability to be working in 3+ seasons at a time
  • Ensuring that displays are in line with brand identity and marketing campaigns
  • Partnership with merchants on the look and feel for each season
  • Partnership with planning & allocation teams on inventory for each season, ability to merchandise within needs of business based on a 3 different inventory levels
  • Oversee mapping, planning & implementation of all visual presentations within Cad created floorsets and usage of the mock store
  • Execute trend/visual presentations, promotional/sale presentations
  • Demonstrate strong working relationship with cross-functional merchant teams regarding visual presentation
  • Demonstrate strong working relationship with cross functional allocations teams regarding continually changing inventory positions
  • Participate in store floorset setups and visits focusing on presentation standards, BRAND integrity and identifying business opportunities

Education and Experience:

  • 2-4 years in visual merchandising or retail experience; proven ability to understand and interpret visual presentation direction
  • Proven creativity with a strong aesthetic sensibility and excellent visual merchandising skills
  • Proficiency in Adobe Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • MAC proficient
  • Competition and industry aware with a strong knowledge of the market
