SUMMARY:

The incumbent contracts and appoints all types of sales agents and independent marketing associations. Conducts routine compliance audits to ensure regulatory compliance. Responds to licensing and contracting status inquiries from sales agents/organizations and compliance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Implements the process to contract and appoint both career agent sales group (CASG) and independent sales agents(ISD), subagents, general agents, and independent marketing organizations (IMO).
  2. Conducts research using external databases.
  3. Responds to licensing and contracting status requests and other associated inquiries from producers, independent marketing organizations, Insurance Services, Compliance, and the Independent Sales Division as well as assisting with training of fellow team members as needed.
  4. Files for appointment of approved producer sell BLI products in the appropriate states.
  5. Use of the automated licensing and contracting tools including RegEd.


EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field desired
  • Previous experience in a financial corporate environment or regulated entity is preferred
  • Previous regulatory experience is desirable
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
  • Development of a proficiency in compliance software programs is required
