What to Expect

The Associate, Commercial Real Estate & Facilities is responsible for assisting with management of loan draws and closings, and provides portfolio reporting, tracking and management of strategic asset, including real estate, construction, signage, electric vehicle charging facilities, hydrogen fuel cell assets, etc., in support of Hyundai, Kia and Genesis brands. In addition, this position assists with providing analysis in support of loan and lease underwriting activities.

What You Will Do

1. Oversees analysis and preparation of loan applications and supporting financial and collateral documents for new and existing accounts. Includes ordering and obtaining all required reports to include appraisals, environmental reports, ALTA Surveys, PZR Zoning reports, and title reports. Evaluate and make appropriate recommendations involving the appraisal reports, environmental reports, credit reports and other credit requirements.

2. Assist with the documentation & loan closing process and follow through with loan closing counsel and borrower (client) to ensure compliance and timely closing; enter into system the loan and lease information.

3. Assist with the loan draw process to ensure proper documents and inspections prior to funding, includes coordinating with outside legal, title and inspection companies; manage loan and lease in the system during the lifecycle.

4. Prepare and track the workflow of periodic portfolio analysis for renewals and covenant compliance in addition to portfolio summary reports for loan and lease quality and expansion opportunities, and non-compliance issues.

5. Identify opportunities to automate processes related to loan draws and portfolio management and coordinate enhancement implementations.

6. Perform other related duties to support the department, including supporting new floorplan applications or annual reviews.

Qualifications

What You Will Bring

Minimum 4-6 years financial services experience with credit applications and underwriting process in real estate, construction, and/or facilities including loan/lease documentation and UCC filing

BS/BA required

Self-starter with excellent time management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively

Ability to quickly learn new systems/software - Microsoft, loan/asset management, billing, etc.

Agility to adapt to new processes and products

Work Environment

Employees in this class are subject to extended periods of sitting, standing and walking, vision to monitor and moderate noise levels. Work is performed in an office environment.

The posted salary range for this job takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; geographic location, and other business and organizational needs.
