Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Associate Financial Advisor to join our top-performing advisory team, which manages over $500 million in assets under management (AUM). The Associate Financial Advisor will play a critical role in managing client relationships, executing trades, and developing comprehensive financial plans to support our clients' financial goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with clients through regular communication, ensuring they feel supported and confident in their financial plans.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, providing timely responses and solutions to client needs.
    • Conduct client meetings, both independently and alongside senior advisors, to review account performance, financial goals, and strategies.
    • Ensure the client experience is seamless and exceeds expectations through proactive service and attention to detail.
  • Financial Planning:
    • Collaborate with senior advisors to develop and implement comprehensive financial plans for clients, covering retirement planning, tax strategies, estate planning, and more.
    • Utilize financial planning software (e.g., eMoney, MoneyGuidePro) to build customized financial models and forecasts for clients.
    • Analyze clients' overall financial situation and offer tailored recommendations to optimize their financial outcomes.
  • Investment and Trading Support:
    • Assist in monitoring and managing client portfolios in accordance with investment strategies and risk tolerance levels.
    • Execute trades and ensure timely and accurate processing of client transactions.
    • Stay current on market trends, economic news, and portfolio performance to provide timely insights and recommendations to clients.
  • Client Reporting and Documentation:
    • Prepare and present client performance reports, account reviews, and financial statements.
    • Ensure all client data is properly maintained in CRM systems, and that documentation adheres to compliance standards.
    • Support client onboarding by preparing necessary documents and guiding clients through the process.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Work closely with a senior team of advisors, including participating in strategy meetings, discussing portfolio adjustments, and enhancing the overall client experience.
    • Contribute to the firm's business development efforts by identifying potential opportunities with existing and prospective clients.
    • Participate in client outreach events and seminars to foster relationships and attract new business.
Qualifications
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
    • CFP designation (or progress toward completion) preferred.
    • Series 7, Series 63/65 or 66 licenses required (or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire).
  • Experience:
    • 2+ years of experience in financial advisory, wealth management, or related field preferred.
    • Strong understanding of financial planning principles, investment products, and portfolio management.
    • Experience working with high-net-worth clients and managing significant assets is a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to clients in a clear and approachable manner.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Proficiency in financial planning software (e.g., eMoney, MoneyGuidePro), CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), and investment platforms.
