Serve as the voice of the internal and external customer for activities and interactions across the customer journey as supported within current and future state of Apollo. Provide vision and direction to the Agile development team(s) and stakeholders throughout the project and create requirements. Champion the work of the team, advocate for value-focused, timely, and high-quality delivery, reward and recognize teammates and peers for their contributions. Plan, manage and prioritize the product backlog items and development for the product based on customer desirability, value to the business, data availability/quality, technical feasibility, risks, and dependencies. Define and refine product vision, goals, metrics, and business case(s) to meet value capture, revenue, and OI impact. Identify opportunities for business integration in the application and effectively accelerate the customer journey as they transition from a discovery to a safety assessment. Drive increment and sprint planning with established and clear goals that are aligned with user/business needs and are aligned with the Product strategy across multiple product delivery teams. Work closely with Product Management and platform leads to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value, goals, or ROI. Manage through agile teams the planning of product release, set the expectation for delivery of new functionalities, and ensure all supporting teams and users are informed. Work with internal and external customers to identify and analyze their needs, identify challenges, or pain points, help them mitigate risk and accelerate their workflows. Minimum Requirements Masters degree in Toxicology, Environmental Health, or related discipline, or foreign degree equivalent, plus at least 5 years overall experience working in the safety assessment research and digital enablement. The experience (which may be gained concurrently) must also include the following: 5 years as a Team lead; and 4 years of experience as a Research Scientist in/with the following: o Conducting scientific research for discovery of drugs, development of drugs or research support of marketed drugs; o Engaging in data analysis, presenting results, and working collaboratively with others to achieve objectives and timelines; o Analyzing and documenting experimental data in electronic notebooks in timely and accurate manner in accordance with company rules; o Presenting scientific data to colleagues and assisting in preparation of internal and external presentations and Training (oral, posters, and publications); and o Performing research into study topics to increase knowledge and ability to provide valuable contributions. Job Location: Charles River Laboratories, Inc. 251 Ballardvale Street, Wilmington, MA 01887. (Telecommuting allowed 5 days per week.) 10% travel to conferences and scientific meetings. Will be assigned to various and unanticipated client sites within US. 40 hours per week, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
