Job Overview:

The Associate Director of HR will lead and oversee all HR and Talent Acquisition functions at Azazie This role will take on a hands-on approach to collaborate with senior leadership to foster a positive company culture, improve employee engagement, and support organizational growth through effective talent acquisition and administrative excellence.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Create and execute our people operations strategy with measurable goals to drive scalable systems, practices, policies, processes, and employee engagement across offices and warehouse.
  • Oversee the HR Information Systems for efficiency while scaling in a fast growth environment
  • Create employee policies and compliance practices to support the best interest of the company as well as the well being of our valuable employees
  • Continually evolve employee onboarding experience in a way that embodies our unique culture and ensures each new team member is set up for success
  • Analyze people metrics to monitor and proactively manage people related objectives and results.
  • Manage the annual compensation and benefit process, ensuring alignment with our benchmark
  • Coordinate the training needs and training planning activities with the leadership teams to improve overall employee satisfaction and retention.
  • Ensures Azazie employment practices are in compliance with state, federal laws and local laws
  • Develop and monitor Talent Acquisition KPIs to ensure the efficiency and success of talent acquisition strategies.
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding.
  • Partner with department heads to understand workforce needs and create effective hiring strategies.
  • Oversee data entry and maintenance of employee records, as well as other office administrative duties.
  • Manage relationships with vendors, service providers, and building management, including overseeing renewal of business insurance requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree preferred and at least 6 years of HR experience, or any similar combination of education and experience
  • Knowledgeable in Human Resources systems and procedures
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Open to travel to LA offices
  • Fluency in Spanish is highly preferred
