Bring your skills as an Associate Director in Mechanical Engineering. You will play a vital role in all aspects of mechanical engineering on Transformational Programmes for critical UK infrastructure, with opportunities to work on iconic engineering projects at home and abroad.
We specialize in all aspects of mechanical engineering within sectors such as Water, Aviation, Defence, Energy, Cities & Development, and Education. We provide industry-leading mechanical engineering solutions throughout the project lifecycle, including client-side support and construction phases. Your Purpose:
- Own and direct teams undertaking technical design work following relevant standards and codes, ensuring high-quality outputs.
- Define briefs, scopes of work, and contribute to bid proposals.
- Manage time and budgets effectively to meet project milestones and programmes.
- Collaborate with UK and overseas teams to deliver integrated design solutions.
- Establish quality assurance standards in design.
- Develop and manage mechanical engineering capabilities within the practice.
What you can bring:
- Chartered or Fellow Mechanical Engineer.
- Experience in design delivery, including multidisciplinary design.
- Deep knowledge of mechanical equipment such as pumps, blowers, screens, and chemical dosing plants, along with understanding of UK design standards and practices.
