Summary

We seek a talented individual experienced in managing technical programs and cross functional teams in the biotech industry. This position will work across the organization on implementing our proprietary science platform that provides the computational and data warehouse infrastructure to support activities in drug target identification, biomarker discovery, and patient stratification across portfolio programs in inflammation and autoimmune diseases.

Responsibilities

  • Develop product roadmap for the platform and oversee its execution.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to define the platform scope, development plans, and manage timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation to ensure successful and on-time delivery to support portfolio program objectives.
  • Drive evaluation, selection and implementation of platform tools.
  • Develop tracking tools to aid visibility of project status, risks and issues.
  • Communicate status of deliverables to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Facilitate cross-functional communication and meetings with external vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify risks and roadblocks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and agreed expectations.
  • Maintain documentation and ensure it is complete, accurate and up to date.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or bioinformatics related field preferred. Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in life sciences or other related discipline a plus.
  • 10 or more years relevant work experience in biotech/pharma industry with minimum of 6 years direct data science product management, technical, software/platform development experience; small biotech company experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience working with external vendors and internal stakeholders to refine deliverables and timelines along organizational priorities.
  • Experience using methodologies to deliver successful technical projects.
  • Familiar with the pharmaceutical development process (including clinical trials, patient level datasets and study documentation).
  • Knowledge of genomics/NGS/AI a plus.

  • Organizational and time management skills to keep teams and projects on schedule.
  • Travel up to 10%.

The expected base pay range for this position is $150,000 - $225,000 plus bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits. The base pay range reflects the target range for this position, but individual pay will be determined by additional factors such as job-related skills, experience and relevant education or training. This range may be modified in the future.
